Pipe Cracking

Pipe Cracking

Pipe cracking — also known as pipe bursting — is a trenchless method for replacing ageing or failed underground pipelines. A bursting head is drawn through the existing pipe, fracturing it outward while pulling a new pipe into its place.

It renews water, sewer and storm-water lines with minimal excavation, far less surface disruption and faster reinstatement than traditional open-trench replacement — and can even upsize a line to greater capacity. We manage this work alongside our wider civil engineering and facilities offering, using the employ of local community members wherever we operate.

What we deliver

  • CCTV inspection of existing pipeline
  • Access pit excavation
  • Bursting of damaged pipes
  • Installation of new replacement pipes
